From April 14 to 20, 2024, the 2024 Annual Plenary Meeting of IEC/TC 114 IEC Technical Committee on Ocean Energy Power Generation Systems was held in Jeju City, South Korea, with more than 50 international experts from more than 10 countries, including China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, India, etc., attending on-site.
Prof. Zhang Jisheng, a member of SAC/TC 546, participated in the meeting as an expert of IEC/TC 114 Domestic Counterpart Working Group. During the conference, Prof. Zhang Jisheng participated in the meeting of the working group for the revision of the international standard “Marine energy – Wave, tidal and other water current converters – Part 200: Electricity producing tidal energy converters – Power Performance assessment” Revision Working Group TC 114/MT 62600-200 meeting. He was also invited to be the co-convener of the working group ahG 12 for the revision of the international standard “Marine energy – Wave, tidal and other water current converters – Part 300: Electricity producing river energy converters – Power performance assessment”, and was in charge of the technical interpretation and revision of the standard.
