On January 4th, 2023, the annual seminar of NSFC-Shandong Joint Fund Key Project (U1906230) “Shandong offshore wind farm complex pile foundation and water and sand dynamic environment coupling mechanism and erosion protection method research (POW3C)” which responsible for Professor Jinhai Zheng was held online.
This year is the third year of the project, and the main progress includes: Field exploration and field data collection in Shandong sea area; The modified Morrison equation method for rapid calculation of complex pile foundation under the combined action of wind and wave; Study on temporal and spatial evolution characteristics of local scour on jacket foundation; Study on weakening mechanism of complex pile foundation caused by erosion under dynamic load; Simulation of multi-scale sediment transport and dynamic response of complex pile foundation soil in offshore wind farm.
Project leader Professor Jinhai Zheng, project members Professor Hongxian Shan from Ocean University of China, Associate Professor Ke Sun from Harbin Engineering University, team members Professor Jisheng Zhang, Professor Dawei Guan, Professor Rui He, Professor Titi Sui, Associate Researcher Linlong Tong and the students participating in the project attended the meeting. At the meeting, each subject leaders reported the research progress in 2022. The project team conducted a heated discussion with Professor Zheng Jinhai. They had an exchange of the current research progress and worked out the next research plan together.
